(QUINTE WEST, ON) – Quinte West OPP is asking business owners as well as the public to be careful when accepting large denomination Canadian currency.
Over the last few days the Quinte West OPP has investigated several occurrences involving the passing of 20 and 100 dollar bills. The Canadian bills have anti-counterfeiting features in them, the bills that have been passed are lacking these features.
