(LAKESHORE, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore was on patrol near Lighthouse Cove on November 26, 2013 at approximately 9:00 p.m. when officers attempted to pull over three All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) on Tisdelle Drive.
Only one of the three ATV’s stopped when instructed by police to do so. The other two drivers were eventually identified and located. The following persons have been charged;
James BALL, age 49 of Lakeshore has been charged with Unlawfully Drive Off-Road Vehicle on Highway and was also issued a 3-day driver’s licence suspension.
Christopher PATERSON, age 54 of Lakeshore has been charged with Unlawfully Drive Off-Road Vehicle on Highway, Fail to Surrender Permit for Off-Road Vehicle, Fail to Stop When Signalled, Drive Motor Vehicle Liquor Readily Available and a 7-day Driver’s Licence Suspension.
Robert HASKELL, age 48 of Tilbury, was charged with Drive Off-Road Vehicle on Highway and Fail to Stop When Signalled.
All three men were issued Provincial Offences Notices and released.
