(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man and a woman each with several criminal offences. The charges stem from a vehicle stop at a RIDE check on Highway 11 in Eby Township. The subsequent investigation led to the seizure of crack cocaine, marihuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and money. The incident occurred at approximately 1:25 A.m. on December 3, 2013.
Charged with four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Personation with Intent (Identity Fraud) and Drive While Disqualified is Kenneth MOYAN age 30 of Kelowna, British Columbia.
Also charged with four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Fail to Comply with an Undertaking and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order is Taylor BARANEC age 22 of Kelowna, British Columbia. Both accused were remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
