(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 4, 2013 at approximately 8:25 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) R.I.D.E. team were conducting R.I.D.E spot checks on Gore Road near Townline Road in Puslinch Twp. Officers investigated the driver of a motor vehicle that entered into the check point. Officers detected the strong odour of marihuana as well as observed marihuana in the vehicle.
Michael Resendes aged 32 of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 10, 2013 to answer to the charge.
