(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Sunday December 8, members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a Break Enter and theft from a residence that occurred on Jermyn Line.
The home owner reports that at some time in the evening of Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8 2013, unknown person had rifled the interior of a motor vehicle stealing loose change.
The suspect(s) then gained entry to his garage and entered a motor vehicle parked inside the garage stealing lose change and several Christmas gifts. The suspect)s) then stole a container of Gas and used it to fuel their vehicle leaving the can behind in a nearby ditch.
The investigating officers discovered that the suspect(s) had also entered other motor vehicles in the area that had been left unlocked and stole loose change.
