(HURON TWP, ON) – On December 6, 2013 at 1:38 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 21 in Huron Township saw a Red Chevrolet Equinox travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 157 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The driver, 24 year old Imraan MUSTAPHA of Brampton, was charged with Race a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2014 to answer to the charge. The penalty for Race a motor vehicle includes an immediate 7 day driver’s licence suspension and 7 day vehicle impound.
