Jake KNOPPERS – Drunk Driving

(Casselman, ON)

On December 6, 2013 OPP Constable Patrick Dussault from the East Region Traffic Team was on Highway 417 near Casselman when he stopped a vehicle for speeding. When speaking to driver the officer noticed an odour of alcohol. The driver failed the Road Side Screening Device test. Once at the OPP office the driver provided more breath samples. The result of the test exceeded the legal limit.

Jake KNOPPERS, 68 years old, from Montreal will have to appear in L’Orignal court on December 18, 2013 to answer to the following charges:

CC 253(1)(a) Driving While Ability Impaired

CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
