MISCHIEF AT CENTENNIAL POOL – ARRESTS MADE

(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Detectives from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have charged two males in relation to the incident at Centennial Pool in Collingwood earlier this year.

Back on the 12th of July 2013, sometime overnight from 10:00pm Thursday to 6:00am the next morning, culprit(s) gained entry into the Centennial pool building and once inside, proceeded to cause damage to construction equipment. The investigation, which involved officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment and also included the local OPP Crime Unit, has now lead to two persons being charged for the incident.

Charged are: 32 year-old Wyatt KING of Georgian Bay Township, he is facing charges of break and enter a place – commit indictable offence and mischief under $5000.

35 year-old Christopher HOWIE of Wasaga Beach, he is facing a charge of break and enter a place – commit indictable offence.

They are to appear in Collingwood court on the 7th of January 2014.
