(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€Early this morning members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU), Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) with the assistance of the Prince Edward County-Ontario Provincial Police conducted a search warrant at residence located on County Road 3, Rossmore. Police seized a loaded handgun.
24-year old male Derrick VELEY, 46-year old male Mark SICKER and 31-year old female Emily CALDWELL, all of Rossmore, ON were arrested in relation to a variety of firearm offences and held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville court on December 12, 2013.
The police investigation is continuing.
