COLLISION LEADS TO DRINKING AND DRIVING CHARGE

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were called to a two vehicle collision (no injuries) at the Brant-Oxford Road and Keg Lane.

At approximately 11:58 a.m. Sunday December 15th, 2013, officers responded to the collision. While the officers were talking to a male driver of one of the vehicles, they could smell the odour of alcohol on his breath. The male driver was given the Roadside Screening Test. As a result of the test the driver was transported to the County of Brant OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer tests.

The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on January 31st, 2014 to answer to the charge.
