(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a robbery that occurred at a West Street North store in Orillia. Members of the Orillia OPP, Orillia OPP Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit attended the scene.
On December 19th ,2013 at approximately 6:55 p.m., two male suspects entered the M&M Meat Shop on West Street North in Orillia and demanded cash from the employees. The males fled out the rear door of the store with an undisclosed amount of money. They were last seen running west bound on Fittons Road West.
The suspects are described below:
Suspect #1- 5’9â€Â, white male, mid 20’s, thin build, black jacket or hoodie, blue jeans and a black balaclava covering his face. The suspect was described as having a deep voice.
Suspect #2- 6’0â€Â, white male, mid 20’s, thin build, wearing a dark jacket or hoodie, black balaclava covering his face. Male had a visible horizontal cut on the bridge of his nose.
No one was injured and no weapons were observed during the robbery.
The investigation is continuing.
