(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male driver with drinking and driving offences in The Blue Mountains.
The incident took place on 30th of December 2013 at 5:20pm when a motorist called in a possible impaired driver on Camperdown Road near Highway 26 in The Blue Mountains. When police attended they located a stationary vehicle on Camperdown Road with the driver behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 54 year-old Herbert PRYKE of Meaford, he is facing charges of care or control over 80 mgs and care or control while impaired. He is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 23rd of January 2014.
