(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 1, 2014, just after 1:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving a single motor vehicle on Highway 401, west of Queens Line.
The collision occurred when a Chevrolet vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 401 left the roadway, entered the centre median, then traveled back across the westbound lanes before it came to rest in the northbound ditch.
The driver, 43 year old Elanko RAJANAYAGAM, from North York, ON, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were reported.
