At approx. 7:00 pm on the 11th of January 2014, a lone male suspect entered the Variety Store located at 187 King Street East in Chatham. Suspect demanded money and indicated he was armed. The suspect fled empty handed. There were no injuries. Investigation on going. Suspect described as male, 25-30 years, approx. 5’9â€Â, medium build, red hoodie, black toque, and black jacket.
