(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 12, 2014 at approximately 12:48 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. team were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driver of a 2008 Honda entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Mico MASIC age 50 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 14, 2014 to answer to the charge.
