(Alfred-Plantagenet, ON) On January 12th 2014, in the Municipality of Alfred-Plantagenet, while on patrol on County Road #17, OPP Constable Jean-Alexandre Robillard Cardinal observed a 1998 Saturn traveling on the highway where he recognized the driver as being suspended from driving.
The vehicle was consequently intercepted for investigation.
The investigation confirmed the officer’s suspicion where it was found that the driver was indeed suspended.
Danny WATHIER (56 yrs) of The Nation, was charged with section 53(1) of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act for Driving while under suspension.
The vehicle was impounded for 7 days under Ontario’s VIP program.
He is scheduled to appear at the L’Orignal Court on February 6th at 9am.
