THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLES

(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public assistance in solving two theft from motor vehicle incidents.

The thefts took place overnight from the 12th to the 13th of January 2014 where culprit(s) entered two unlocked vehicles. The first incident reported to police involved a vehicle parked in a private drive on Birch Street near Third Street where culprit(s) and stole a wallet with personal ID inside and a pair of Oakley sunglasses.

The second such incident took place on Second Street near Cedar Street where a parked vehicle was entered and the vehicle’s ownership and insurance documents were taken.
