(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male motorist with various driving offences as a result of a collision in The Blue Mountains.
On the 16th of January 2014 shortly after 1:00am, officers and paramedics were dispatched to attend to a single motor vehicle roll over collision on Grey Road 19 at the roundabout in The Blue Mountains. The male driver was attended to by emergency personel on scene where he was later transported to Collingwood General & Marine Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigation found that he was under the influence of alcohol and was charged accordingly.
Charged is 22 year-old Brad LAWRENCE of Clearview Township, he is facing criminal charges of driving while ability impaired, dangerous operation of motor vehicle as well as numerous Highway Traffic Act offences. He is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 13th of February 2014.
