SNOW MACHINE DRIVER INJURED

(LEAMINGTON, ON) -On Saturday, January 18, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington along with Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a single vehicle snow machine crash.

The collision occurred along a decommissioned railway line on Road 6 just west of Highway 77 in Leamington. The snow machine collided with a large cement block and the driver, a 44 year old Blenheim man, suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to an area hospital where he remains.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) conducted an investigation that remains ongoing.
