(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 22, 2014 at approximately 6:08 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call on Main Street, near Wellington Street, Mount Forest. A male driving a 2001 Pontiac collided with a parked vehicle. Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the driver who showed signs of consuming alcohol. He was arrested and brought to the Mount Forest Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Joshua MILLS age 28 of Wellington North Township has been charged Impaired Driving, and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 7, 2014 to answer to the charge.
