(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was extremely busy over the weekend dealing with drivers not heeding the warnings to stay off the roads or slow down through the inclement weather. As a result, police investigated 50 motor vehicle collisions and cars in the ditch between January 30 and February 2. A majority of these collisions could have been avoided had drivers slowed down, driven with caution or simply stayed home when travel was not necessary. Whether it is a collision involving other vehicles or a car in a ditch, each time an occurrence like this happens, there is the potential for catastrophic results. Remember, when there’s snow go slow!
