(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On February 3, 2014 at approximately 1:00 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) set up a R.I.D.E. spot check on Highway 6 and College Avenue, Guelph. Officers spoke with a male driver of a 1997 Volkswagon and during the conversation, marihuana was discovered and seized.
Bryan CLARK age 24 of Haldimand County has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is also charged with Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 18, 2014 to answer to the charges.
