Around 5:00 p.m. yesterday, an officer was travelling eastbound on Park Street in Chatham when he observed a car in front of him with no validation sticker on the rear plate. The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned that the woman was currently prohibited from driving due to a previous conviction for impaired driving.
The 35-year-old Chatham woman was charged with driving while disqualified. Her car was impounded for 45 days as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program.
