(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft from a Gilbertson Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, February 7, 2014, at approximately 11:20 p.m., an unknown small black motor vehicle attended the parking lot of Superior Essex and was observed parking beside another vehicle in the lot.
An unknown male then exited the small black vehicle and proceeded to remove the front and rear licence plates from the parked vehicle. The suspect then left the area travelling south bound on Gilbertson Drive towards the Queensway.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
The OPP want to remind all community residents that if they observe any suspicious activity to please contact the police.
