(ADJALA-TOSORONTIO, ON)- On Sunday February 9th, 2014 at 7:52p.m, Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting proactive vehicle patrols on County Road 50, when a vehicle came into the radar beam at 51 kilometers over the speed limit in a posted 80 kilometer per hour zone.
The vehicle was stopped safely by Police and the driver was charged with Racing-50 kilometers over the posted speed limit. Charged under the Highway Traffic Act is 20 year old Town of New Tecumseth resident Christopher KALNINS.
The driver’s licence was suspended and the 2001 Volkswagon Jetta was towed from the scene.
