(CALEDON, ON) – On February 5, 2014 members from the Street Crime Unit and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) executed a warrant at a Caledon residence. The warrant recovered a quantity of long guns.
Jonas Anthony Shane BUFFET and Dawn BUFFET, both 44, from Caledon were arrested and charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon.
They were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on March 27, 2014 to answer to their respective charges.
