(MOOSONEE, ON) – On February 19, 2014, the Moosonee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from the Cochrane OPP received information of a male travelling from Cochrane to Moosonee carrying a quantity of controlled drugs.
Officers located the male. As a result of police investigation, the male was subsequently arrested and transported to the Moosonee OPP Detachment. A search revealed a quantity of methamphetamine pills and a small amount of marihuana. The methamphetamine is valued at approximately $1020 while the marihuana is valued at approximately $40.
Morgan MOAR, 24, of Moose Factory Ontario is charged with the following:
Trafficking in a Schedule I substance – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purposes of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana
The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on February 21, 2014.
