(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Friday February 21, 2014 at 2:43 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex Centre Fire Department and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a two vehicle collision on Egremont Drive west of Ivan Drive, Middlesex Centre.
Police have learned that an eastbound minivan lost control and crossed into the path of a westbound SUV. A total of three people were transported to a local area hospital. Two adult male drivers were treated and released. The passenger was transported with life threatening injuries and later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision. The deceased male has been identified as Jordan STRICKLAND, age 27 of London, ON.
Police closed a section of Egremont Drive as members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) team and Middlesex OPP continued their investigation. The Investigation is on-going.
