(SOUTHWEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising of a collision on Highway 401 in the eastbound lanes due to a single tractor trailer collision.
The collision is on the eastbound side of the highway between Pigram Line and Culloden Road. Minor injuries reported. The eastbound lanes are closed as well as one westbound lane blocked due to debris on highway. Traffic is being diverted eastbound at Putnam Road.
OPP and other emergency vehicles are on the scene and are advising motorists to slow down and be cautious in that area for at least the next hour.
Cause of the collision is still under investigation.
