Daniel CROZIER – Failure To Lower High Beams, Drive While Suspended

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver being charged with multiple offences.

On February 24, 2014 an OPP officer was travelling on Kawartha Lakes Road 36 when a passing motorist failed to lower the high beams. The officer subsequently stopped the vehicle. Investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving. Further investigation indicated that the vehicle was not insured.

As a result of the traffic stop, the driver, Daniel CROZIER, 33 years of age, of Manvers Township, was charged with failing to use low beam, driving while under suspension and failing to produce vehicle permit, all contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The accused was further charged with failing to provide proof of insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.

The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on April 1, 2014.
