(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On March 1, 2014, just after 9:00 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a Dodge pickup on Highway 40 near Claymore Line.
Subsequent OPP traffic investigation at roadside revealed that the driver’s licence was suspended. Further investigation led to the seizure of a small amount of suspected marihuana.
A 38 year old male, Douglas COUVILLON, from Chatham, ON, has been charged with Possession of Marihuana, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Driving While Under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The male is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on April 10, 2014, to answer to the charges.
