(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 58 year old male with drinking and driving offences after conducting a vehicle check at an Argyle St., Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Friday February 28th, 2014 at approximately 1:35 am an officer investigating a possible impaired driving incident checked the suspect vehicle described as a blue 2009 Ford pickup truck at the Argyle St. address. Upon checking the vehicle the driver was located within the vehicle and signs of impairment by alcohol was detected.
Charged with Care and Control of a motor vehicle while Impaired and Care and Control of a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 58 year old Kirk DIETZ of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date.
