(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On March 1, 2014, just before 3:00 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a Honda vehicle on Queen Street in Chatham.
While officers were speaking with the male driver, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages. Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit. Chatham-Kent OPP later determined that the driver had falsely identified himself to Police.
Thomas PARASKEVOPOULOS, age 18, from Chatham, will appear in a Chatham Court on March 11, 2014, to answer to the following charges under the Criminal Code of Canada:
Driving While Ability Impaired
Personation With Intent
Obstruct Peace Officer
Public Mischief
