(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after vehicle entries were reported at Hunt Street North, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, February 28, 2014 in the early morning hours, unknown suspects attended the compound of Davey Tree Service and gained entry by removing a portion of the exterior fence. Once inside, unknowns forced entry into two vehicles that were located in the secured lot.
Several items were taken which consisted of rigging and climbing ropes, harnesses, pulleys and a Stihl chain saw.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
