(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Kenora Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the North End of Kenora on Friday February 28, 2014. Police located and seized approximately 725 grams of marihuana, Canadian Currency and a shotgun. The estimated street value of the drugs is around $8200.
As a result of this investigation, 52 year old Donald PENCOFF of Kenora has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Marijuana) for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts), Possession of a Schedule II Substance (cannabis resin) contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm contrary to the Criminal Code. He is to appear in Kenora Court on April 3, 2014 to answer to the charges.
