(NAPANEE, ON)- On Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 5 pm police responded to a report of a shoplifter struggling with a loss prevention officer outside of the No Frills grocery store in Napanee.
Police arrested a 46 year-old Cannifton man for theft under $5000 after finding several video games and DVDs strewn throughout the parking lot.
Richard LUFFMAN was held in custody and faces charges of theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, and escaping lawful custody.
LUFFMAN is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing today in Provincial Court in Napanee.
