PERCOCETS SEIZED

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the OPP conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 17 shortly before 1:00 pm on Friday March 7, 2014. The police investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle and the arrest of the two male occupants. The search led to the discovery of 452 Percocet pills in the vehicle. The drugs have an estimated street value of over $4500.

As a result of this investigation, 57 year old Dean FAGNAN and 68 year old Abie PARENTEAU of Manitoba have been charged with Trafficking of a Schedule I Substance and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Both men are to appear in Kenora Court on May 8, 2014 to answer to the charges.
