(South Glengarry) – SD&G OPP officers are currently at the scene of a train (Via) and pedestrian collision near 5TH Line Road, South Glengarry Township.
The investigation has revealed that a male was struck by an eastbound via passenger train at approximately 4:00pm just west the Ontario/Quebec border.
The investigation is ongoing as to the identity and age of the deceased male.
SD&G OPP is requesting that traffic use an alternate route other than 5th Line Road to travel North and South.
