(PERTH, ON) – The Lanark County Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Registered Nurse with Sexual Assault.
A 33- year- old woman complained to police that she was assaulted by a nurse on January 10, 2014 while in his office, at the Perth and District Hospital while she was a client of his.
As a result of the investigation,‎ 50-year-old Richard NIGHTINGALE of North Dundas Township, who was working for Lanark County Mental Health at the time of the incident, has been charged with Sexual Assault.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer- In-Charge Undertaking‎ with conditions to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on May 29, 2014.
