(LAMBTON COUNTY, ON) – The storm is over but right now at 10:46 a.m. March 14, 2014 on east bound Highway 402 between Mandaumin Road and Oil Heritage Line, Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are there to deal with five vehicles in the ditch.
There are no collisions or injuries being reported but blowing snow and drivers not reacting to the changing conditions in that stretch, has resulted in the vehicles going off of the highway and into ditches.
Lambton OPP is preparing to begin “slow-down†operations from Mandaumin road, east bound on the 402 highway.
Motorists are advised to activate all vehicle lighting rather than just daytime running lights, slow down, and watch for changing conditions to the weather and driving.
