(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On March 12, 2014 Drug Enforcement Officers of the Combined Forces Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a Home Avenue residence in Thunder Bay.
A 45 year old male, a 23 year old male and a 28 year old female all from Thunder Bay were arrested and charged with:
1) Possession of Marihuana and Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Police investigators seized a total of 2482 grams of Marihuana with a street value of $49,640, ten grams of Cocaine with a street value of $1000 and $15,195 in Canadian Currency.
The Combined Forces Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau consists of members from the Ontario Provincial Police – Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Thunder Bay Police Service, the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and The Anishinabek Police Service.
