(ORO-MEDONTE TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is pleased to announce that late this afternoon, Detectives from the Barrie OPP Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Barrie Police Service (BPS), have arrested a 34-year old male who is believed to be responsible for the violent assault which occurred yesterday morning at a Barrie Terrace residence in the Village of Shanty Bay.
The male, who was arrested without incident in th City of Barrie is being held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
The identity of this male cannot be released at this time as formal charges are in the process of being laid.
