On March 23, 2014 at approximately 3:16pm a single motor vehicle collision occurred on Hickory Street East in the city of Waterloo. A 19 year old Kitchener male lost control of his vehicle westbound on Hickory Street, and struck a snowbank causing the vehicle to rollover. The driver suffered minor injuries. There were 2 male passengers in the vehicle, 17 and 18 years old, who suffered scrapes and bruises. Speed and inexperience are believed to be the main factors in the collision as the roads were dry and clear. The driver was charged with careless driving.
