On March 22, 2014 at 3:11 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Stone Road Mall to investigate a disturbance. Investigation alleges that two males were sitting in an eating establishment when two other males entered. One of the males came over and took food. A verbal argument ensued and was taken outside where it became physical. One of the males that had entered and took food brandished and used a knife, cutting the other males finger. Guelph Wellington EMS attended but the injury was minor and did not require medical assistance. Police arrested the male at the scene.
Chun Hay KO, 19 years of Markham has been charged with assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous. He will appear in court on April 29, 2014.
