(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 4:14 a.m. on Saturday the 22nd of March 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 in the Town of Bancroft.
Investigation into the incident resulted in an adult male driver being arrested and charged. 30 year old Colin BLAIR of Mississauga, Ontario has been charged with impaired operation cause bodily harm and operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. Mr. BLAIR was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 20th of May 2014.
Mr. BLAIR and the vehicle passenger, a 34 year old male from Faraday Township, Ontario sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
