(ADJALA-TOSORONTIO, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting proactive patrols on March 23, 2014 at 4:30pm on County Road 5 and Concession Road 4 when a motor vehicle was stopped for speeding 76 kilometers per hour over the posted speed limit.
Charged for speeding 156km/hour in an 80 km/hour zone is 24 year old Mulmur Township resident.
He was charged with Racing under the Highway Traffic Act, his licence was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was towed and held for 7 days. He was issued a Summons to appear in court to explain his speed to the Ontario Court Justice.
