(MARATHON ON) -On Thursday March 20th, 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marathon detachment received a call for an alarm at The Marathon Center Mall.
Officers attended the area and located a male exiting the rear of the building from an access door to The Marathon Drug Associates.
Joseph C. WAWIA, age 32, from Valley East, Sudbury, ON was charged with:
Theft under $5000
Break, and Enter a Place-with intent to commit indictable offence
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Possession Break in Instruments
The male was arrested, charged and held for a show cause hearing. He was remanded into custody and transferred to the Thunder Bay District Jail to be held until his next court appearance.
