(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 9th, 2011 at 10:27 am, the South Bruce OPP received a report of an overnight break and enter at the Cheers Laundromat in Kincardine. Sometime between 9:00 pm on April 8th, 2011 and 10:25 am on April 9th, 2011, the Laundromat was forcibly entered by smashing glass in the main entrance door. Once inside the drier cash box, pop machine cash box and change machine were all pried without success. The detergent dispenser was successfully broken into and a quantity of change was taken. The value of the damage caused by the break in is estimated to be more than $2,000. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
