(Rockland, ON) On March 30, 2014 OPP Constable Joe Barbe was on patrol in Rockland when he noticed that a validation sticker on a plate was expired. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver. At that time he noticed a smell of alcohol. He asked the driver to provide a breath sample into the Roadside Screening Device. The test result was an F” for fail. The driver was then transported to the OPP detachment for more tests. The test results on the Intoxylizer exceeded the legal limits.
