(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday April 03, 2014, around 12:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a suspicious car with its lights on, in the Listowel Memorial Hospital Parking lot. Officers detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath.
The male was administered a roadside breath test, which he failed. He was arrested and transported to the Wellington County OPP Detachment in Teviotdale, where he failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Jason SHILLING (29) of the Municipality of North Perth was charged with “care or control of a motor vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol in bloodâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on Wednesday April 23, 2014 to answer to this charge. He was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
